Natural caffeine occurs in nature in coffee beans, cocoas, and teas. Avitae gets its natural caffeine from coffee beans. Most other products that contain caffeine such as sodas and even aspirin use synthetic caffeine created in a laboratory. We simply think that given the choice, natural is always better than artificial.

Avitae Caffeinated Water comes in two strengths, 45mg and 90mg. Avitae 45mg contains 45mg of natural caffeine, which is about the same amount of caffeine as a diet soda. Avitae 90mg contains (you guessed it!) 90mg of natural caffeine, which is about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of your favorite coffee.
It really depends on the individual. However, the number doctors tend to cite is no more than 500mg a day, roughly 11 bottles of Avitae 45mg.
Avitae is currently made out of PET 1, or PETE, and does not contain any BPA. PET is globally recognized as a safe, recyclable packaging material. The sustainability of our bottles and company is a focus of ours. We plan on continuously improving in these areas.
